How to Enable GDI menu in LS Retail

What is GDI?

GDI is the acronym of “GRAPICS DEVICE INTERFACE”   is a Microsoft windows application programming interface and core operating system component that is responsible for representing graphical object and transmitting them to output device such as monitor.

How to Enable GDI+ button on a Menu

To change an existing menu to use the new GDI+ Button Pad, place a checkmark in the Use GDI+ Menus for the Menu Profile that the Menu belongs to.

Step 1: Select LS Retail POS

Step 2: Navigate to Profile and menu profile

Step 3: In General TAB make a check mark in “Use GDI + Menus”

Step 5: Create GUI menu
